VENDOR OPPORTUNITIES COMING SOON!

For all you folks looking for vendor opportunities at an event like ours, we will soon be posting the info here for you.  We will create a page outlining the space, layout, and pricing structure, as well as the types of vendors we are looking for.  If you’re not on the list, don’t fret.  We will post a down-loadable PDF file that will be our application for prospective vendors and you can submit your ideas for review.  We expect to have up to 40 vendor sites available, including space for 4-6 food vendors.  We are preparing for up to 5000 attendees per day for the weekend and we feel we reasonably expect between 3500 and 5000 each day.  This promises to be an exciting event and we don’t want you to miss out on this opportunity.  Check back for updates and the additional web-page with all the details.

The Great Guitar Giveaway

Last year we gave away an autographed guitar signed by the legendary Johnny Winter.  We raffled the guitar throughout the course of the day, selling tickets for $5 each, raising money for the American Cancer Society.  This year we are giving away not one but two guitars.  They will be Fender signature guitars signed by our headliners, Robert Cray and Jimmie Vaughan.  We’ll give away one each day, selling chances for $5 each, with all proceeds going to a children’s charity to be named soon.  Check back here over the next couple weeks for more details and photos of the guitars we will be giving away.

Weekend Lineup Coming Together

We’re putting together a pretty nice lineup for the show and I’m sure most of you will find this to your liking.  On Saturday, October 1st, The Robert Cray Band will be headlining and closing the show.  Music will start at 11AM and include some names like Stacy Mitchhart, WSNB, Sean Chambers, Big Bill Morganfield, and others.  On Sunday, October 2nd, Jimmie Vaughan and Tilt-A-Whirl will be headlining and closing the show.  Music will also start on Sunday at 11AM and include names like The Breeze Kings, Men In Blues, Albert Castiglia, Reba Russell, Bill Sheffield, and others.  Check back soon for the updates and the actual time slots for all the great talent you’ll find at Georgia Bluesfest 2011.
